Santa Croce
Santa Croce...
This is truly the most breathtaking property in all of Cortona. Located at the tippy top of the hill town, on a large piece of land with an ancient monastery and three very recently renovated buildings. The main building has four suites in different colors, another building just steps away houses the duplex suite, and adjacent to that is another beautiful building with two more suites ... one upper level and one garden level. #1 - Yellow Room
​
This corner room is located on the upper most level of the main building, the second floor. Windows face the Val d'Orcia and Lake Trasimeno at the foot of the bed, and evergreen trees to the left of the bed. Bathroom has a large window facing the lake with a bathtub directly in front of it. There is also a walk-in shower. Amenities include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, hair dryer, robe, slippers and Busatti linens. #2 - Green Room
​
This corner room is located on the upper most level of the main building, the second floor. Windows face the Val d'Orcia and Lake Trasimeno on the left side of the bed, and the ancient monastery at the foot of the bed. Bathroom has a large window facing the monastery and a walk-in shower. #3 - Grey Room
​
Located on the upper most level of the main building, on the second floor. This is one of only two rooms that has beautiful, original frescos on the ceiling. Windows face the ancient monastery to the left of the bed. Walk-in shower in the bathroom. Amenities include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, hair dryer, robe, slippers and Busatti linens. #4 - Blue Room
​
Located on the upper most level of the main building, on the second floor. This is one of only two rooms that has beautiful, original frescos on the ceiling. Windows face the evergreen trees and garden with seating area to the right of the bed. Bathroom has a walk-in shower and large windows facing the gorgeous stone buildings where rooms 5-7 are located. #5 - Stone Duplex
​
Located just steps from the main house in a private stone building. Double glass doors are used to enter the room, plus there is a window on either side of these doors … all facing the gardens and the main house. The bedroom is on the lower level. The staircase ascends to a skylit bathroom with walk-in shower. Amenities include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, hair dryer, robe, slippers and Busatti linens. #6 - Stone Suite
​
Located just steps from the main house, on the upper level of a private stone building. This room is accessed via the original stone staircase. This is a large room with a bed, couch, and two sets of windows facing the main house, the gardens, and the Val d'Orcia. Down a short hallway to the left of the bed there is a window facing the medieval wall. The bathroom has only a bathtub, with a large window facing the gardens. This is actually a beautiful suite but you have to be ok with walking up that stone staircase and only having a bathtub. #7 - Stone Suite
Located just steps from the main house, on the lower level of a private stone building. This is the only room with a private outdoor seating area. Inside you find a bed, couch, original stone walls and wooden beamed ceiling. The glass doors and windows are on the left of the bed, facing the main house, the gardens, and the Val d'Orcia. In the bathroom there is a window facing the same direction, and a walk-in shower. There are no good photos of this room but it is really beautiful with a large bathroom and windows to the garden from bedroom and bathroom ... I am told they have added some upgrades as well. Cinema Room
This is not an official bedroom, but it can be used as such. It is located on the first floor of the main building in a private "wing" where just outside of the room there is a spacious and bright area with a desk, and a private bathroom with walk-in shower and large windows facing the ancient stone buildings. The cinema room itself is a corner room with lots of windows, blackout curtains, an extra large and comfortable couch, and of course a big television. The only other room on this floor is the enormous living area with fireplace. Amenities include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, hair dryer, robe, slippers and Busatti linens.
