Corte San Pietro...
In the heart of the ancient Sassi districts, a UNESCO world heritage site, some ancient cave houses dating back to 1600 have been restored and reinvented to create the most authentic and evocative environment.​ This is how Corte San Pietro was born…from the history and passion of Fernando and Marisa Ponte. The suites, the reception, and the breakfast room open up around the main courtyard, while other suites overlook the cobbled streets adjacent to the central body, giving the unique feeling of living in the neighborhood.​

At Corte San Pietro, the room numbers have been chosen quite purposefully. In fact, the old street numbers of what once – not so long ago – were houses where entire families lived, are today the numbers of the hotel rooms. The furnishing elements, all recovered, are witnesses of an authenticity that has never been lost.

This split level Junior Suite has a private entrance from the small courtyard, which is just past the main courtyard. A staircase leads to the bedroom on an upper level.
